Distribution of Gas Stoves (shegdis) in Kolhapur District during floods in 2019.

 

 The pilgrimage center of Narsoba (chi) Wadi near Kurundwad town of Kolhapur District in Western Maharashtra faced catastrophic floods in Aug 2019.

 

 Located on the at the confluence of Krishna and Panchganga rivers, this town was heavily inundated with record flood level over the past 100 years! Large population of people were displaced and livelihoods were seriously disrupted during this difficult period.

As a measure of relief, Raj Path Infracon distributed gas stoves to the local population who had been displaced by floods.
